If you’ve ever been to Glensheen Mansion in Duluth, MN you may recall the Breakfast Room - a beautiful, airy green tiled room lined with stained glass windows. If I had lived there I can guarantee that is the room I would have spent all of my time in. It would be filled with plants and renamed the Garden Room. I visited the mansion last summer and couldn’t get this room out of my head. Since replicating the room in my own house was out of my budget I painted the magical feeling of that space instead.
